Isaac Raymond is a screenwriter and director whose work has been recognised with several awards, including the BFI Network Award for Best Film in 2022. Over the past five years, he has written and directed short films and music videos that have screened at festivals in the UK and abroad.

His films often deal with psychology and mental health, touching on themes such as grief, loneliness, and depression. He’s particularly interested in using film to explore these subjects in a way that feels relatable and human, while experimenting with style and form. Looking ahead, his aim is to move into feature filmmaking, combining artistic ambition with stories that connect to a wide audience.

While much of his work has been rooted in drama, Isaac has recently started exploring comedy, directing a short written by a collaborator that is currently in post-production. This shift reflects his interest in working across different genres and approaches.

Alongside narrative film, Isaac has directed a number of music videos, using the format to play with visual storytelling and experiment with ideas in a freer, more expressive way.

Whether in drama, comedy, or music, his work is driven by a love of cinema and a curiosity about new ways to tell stories on screen.
